Planned Parenthood is butchering babies for profit, Iran is developing nuclear weapons, a devastating trade plan made it through Congress, but an overgrown housecat’s death is what people are concerned about.

Oh my god, a cat half a world away died.
Wow, butthurt much? People have more money, are more successful and more attractive than you. Get over it.
I mean, I’m all about hating on rich idiots who crash their expensive cars, but seriously? Whatever you have to tell yourself to make yourself feel better.
“Higher stakes” and “less politically correct” doesn’t have to mean less safety or that we want anyone to die. This is bullshit false equivalency.
Yep, you are at a racetrack/racing event. If you don’t like the smell of burning racing fuel you are in the wrong place. I’m not going to sacrifice my car or my performance on the track because you don’t like the fumes. Starting a race/run at the correct temp and idling/cooling after a hard run are musts in turbo…
Sure, we’re gearheads, but many of us are humans as well, which means we’ve very likely loved and lost and most…
It’s not as poor of a halo-car release as the LFA, but it’s no R8 bomb drop. My hunch is that the new NSX sells poorly and is quickly forgotten. Then in 15 years Jalopnik will write an article praising it as a forgotten, under-appreciated modern classic.
Earlier today, our man Doug took on a tricky subject for young car enthusiasts everywhere: what do you do if you…
Selling car insurance is a tricky thing, because you aren’t really selling something someone wants.
Many fans thought that telling a driver where to brake, how much fuel to save, etc, meant the drivers weren’t driving. So now instead of having interesting and informative radio messages to let viewers and commentators know how a driver is doing, the teams will just send the data via the dashboard or some other way.
High beams are a dick move. I prefer to pull in front of them give my windshield a quick wash.
You pay into it, but you’re paying for the people getting SS now, not into some fund that will be yours down the road. The first SS beneficiaries didn’t pay into it, so it’s always dependent on future earners paying for future retirees. I’ll also be pissed if SS isn’t there when it’s my time, but I’m sure as hell not…
Honda can really get back by doing what made them great: high quality cars (with dead-on reliability), put a ridiculous amount of effort into racing and made sure people knew it, and cars that basically defined the segment or made it up. Cars that made the segment (or had no comparable peers)
Not to victim blame, but “Watch an idiot stand at the outside of a corner during an illegal drift ‘race’” would have been just as accurate of a headline.
Honda needs to return to F1. They were awesome back in the day. What’s the worst that could happen?
While I appreciate MMM, I don’t believe that all his practices are the best for everyone. I have a friend who religiously reads and preaches by him, but its not as simple as he makes it out. And I’m a numbers guy, so I understand all the financial angles.
