If you’re really trying to do better, the headline for the same article in the Kotaku UK site was better than the one here:

Honestly, I think ArenaNet’s mistake in this whole story was to hire her in the first place. JP’s twitter already had plenty of signs showing what kind of headache she would eventually bring to the company.

I agree. No one expected her to user her own personal Twitter account to talk about GW2. No one came even close to demanding her to reply to the comments about her words. Calling players a “rando asshat” for polite discussion in a media made for discussion, saying she didn’t have to pretend to like players on twitter,

Definitely! It was great, a perfect PC port as well.

Honestly, between all those releases the game I’m the most excited for is Ori and the Will of the Wisps.

Try reading the Eisenhorn books by Dan Abnett (Xenos, Malleus and Hereticus). They deal with a lot of the interesting lore of the setting in a very approachable way.

Ugh, I hate Fahey. He’s the most egocentric writer in this site; no one else keeps posting selfies as article heads, or writes so many posts about himself/herself.

I think one of the biggest issues in the USA right now is pop culture’s obsession with Donald Trump. From the point of view of someone in another country, I can’t stand reading about the guy any more, but people are talking about him on gaming sites, on movie sites, on comic book sites, and so on and so on.

I mean, the guy:

Same here. I am Setsuna was just “ok”, it didn’t really feel great. Its uniqueness came mostly from the ways it tried to circunvent its limitation (the omnipresent snow and the piano-only soundtrack). But the story was incredibly bland, feeling like a copy of Final Fantasy X with a very nonsensical ending, and

I wish there were a good mod changing how the armor system works. One of the great things in the first Original Sin was joining battle and then immediately manipulating the environment and enemies. In D:OS2, the armor system protecting enemies with an elemental shield and a physical shield made this entire system less

Why not both? I have a massive amount of respect for women who go half naked to social spaces classically filled by sexually-starved young men who shower once a week. This isn’t even sarcasm. It takes a healthy amount of self confidence, as well as a strong ability to set boundaries.

But IGN is kinda of filthy, isn’t it? I’m not surprised it’s a workplace environment that fostered sexual harassers. I don’t really believe the whole “gaming companies pay video game blogs for good reviews”, but I make an exception for IGN - they look so ridiculous rotten that I wouldn’t be surprised if they got a

There are many Kotaku articles that I don’t really enjoy (everything about Overwatch and/or Destiny, for example). I don’t think those are bad articles, just stuff that’s not for me.

But... Is this better than nothing?

Here’s my theory about what is truly happening in the game:

Yesssssssssssssssssssssssssssss. I have been waiting for a sequel for what feels like years now. Too bad Ubisoft is busy making more poorly conceived Assassin’s Creed games :(

I can’t help but wonder about what companies would do for the real thing, the criticis’ Metacritic score. I doubt gaming sites actually receive money from gaming companies in exchange for good reviews (other than IGN, but then again IGN is filthy anyway), but I have a strong feeling that they give other incentives for

So, this is a hard pass.

Yeah. Articles like this make playing a MMORPG look more like a disease than a hobby.
