I have to say I am greatly disappointed that the "Sim City Disaster Watch" banner isn't on this article. Even if it's just a paragraph, any missed opportunity to use that image is a missed opportunity to make kittens everywhere happy.

This anime appears to be to Sword Art Online what Maouyu is to generic fantasy anime - taking a concept usually employed for actions stories and instead exploring the political and sociological aspects of the setting.

I actually prefer keyboard & mouse... You'll laugh, but I got used to controllers back at the Genesis time, so these "new" (as in, in the last decade :-P) controllers with the analog sticks feel extremely weird to me.

How are the controls? I really REALLY hated The Force Unleashed port because (among other things) it was clearly kept as something control only, with very half-assed keyboard and mouse support (we had to use [ and ] to move in the menus, for God's sake!).

I agree. It's somewhat of a kick on the face of old fans, but I have to admit I enjoyed it. The soundtrack and the animation were great; and, as non sequitur as the story was, I think it was very fitting to the Evangelion mythos that the author went in a completely unpexpected direction.

I think she gets a little better as the story goes on.

I didn't really like it.
