I would, but I don’t want 4 hits on my credit just to take the test drives...

I mean, there was a whole show devoted to “restoring” rare numbers matching ‘69 mopars by digging a rusted and crushed hulk out of a forest or a dump, salvaging the block and the vin tag and “restoring” it by building an entirely new car out of NOS and repro parts then welding in the old vin tag and doing an acid dip

Lol, just because we have great credit doesn’t mean we have bushels of money.

Alex Jones, major proponent of personal responsibility and the rule of law, declares bankruptcy to avoid both.

I expect it will swing back at some point. High prices and/or a recession will drive some buyers out of the market.  Some manufacturer will decide to fill the lots again to attract buyers, and the discounting will resume.

As long as car companies can keep getting away with high prices, I don’t see this coming to an end.

Counterpoint: the photoshopped look leaves the light pods feeling small and arbitrary now, while the remaining grille feels like it wants to remind one of the Stinger quite badly but can’t remember exactly what it looked like.

The original feels like some nice brows over the eyes, but clearly a unibrow.

Also cool was the way Biden made the Saudis manipulate the oil market way before he was elected. I mean, it’s not possible that some other administration whose members have since gotten massive investments from them and let the m get away with murder could have had anything at all to do with it.

Well of course not if you’re watching Fox News.

I hate how Biden invaded Ukraine and also told big oil to raise gas prices. He clearly did it. We should impeach him.

I’m sure he has a lot to say about masks and COVID too. It’s funny how something as small as a sticker can tell you everything you need to know about a person.

Season 2, episode 1.

I may be swimming against the tide here, but unless you really really really REALLY want one of these rare beasties, the price and condition gets a No Dice from me.

Why are you even on a car site if you can’t talk about cars without throwing around put-downs about their supposed owners?

According to “Real Truck” people, towing is MUCH more important than hauling (at least that’s what they always tell me when I point out that my Ridgeline has a higher payload than their “Real Truck”.

I see the problems as 1) the Santa Cruz, while better looking, has a less usable bed and is more expensive. 2) the Ridgeline, while a fine light truck, is way too damn expensive.

I’d shell out $60k for a BEV minivan tomorrow.
