I am not a truck owner now, but I do like four things about them that encourage me to consider them when I shop:

Gladiators are wonk but where else are you going to find a truck with a manual transmission and convertible top that can tow 6000lbs. 

I love my small German hatchback, I also have an E46 and E90, all manuals, but the one vehicle I won’t let go of is my full size truck.

Um, he didn’t mind the ride in the Wrangler (the JL is pretty darned refined compared to previous models). The Gladiator is even better with its longer wheelbase. The Mojave with the Fox shocks has an even smoother ride. 

Agreed. I’m stoked they are doing this. Right now, basically only FCA (or whatever it is now) makes cool colored vehicles outside of people with tons of money that have special ordered an expensive german vehicle.

Looking at the silver, I think I agree with you. That TA looks much better in black. Maybe it’s that black is thinning or smooths some creases, but there’s something. Maybe it’s that I had one when I was 20, but I wouldn’t own one in anything but black now, looking at the palatte.

I personally love the styling of the last generation of Firebird. Dream-car-as-a-kid love it. Would drive one if they weren’t so overpriced. In yellow with black wheels, so good. So yeah, styling, it’s subjective. Or maybe I have bad taste, Torch is the one with formal art education and experience.
