Northern Michigan, where most of these speed limits were raised, had a very arduous cold, snowy winter last year. I’d wager that was a bigger factor than the speed limit change.

What’s the pothole density in UT vs MI?

Nobody anywhere can drive, including Ohio.

Don’t believe everything you read.  The pic says armoalled old rubber.

The Ford Flex gets way too much love on this site. It looks like shit, and it’s not a good car by any metric. Its only redeeming quality is being a ‘wagon’ in a market undersaturated with wagons, but nobody’s going to pay $13k for this example of the species.

Yes, if they don’t like your sense of humor, they have no qualms with shutting you down.  They’re very into the “cancel culture”.

To me it seems like the only writers you can genuinely poke fun at without treading a minefield are Kristen, David, and Jason. My previous user account was outright deleted because I made fun of Alainis a couple years back.

His response to his being arrested to blame everyone else but himself. It irritated the shit out of me. The laws were too harsh, he was speeding but it was not unsafe, he was singled out because he is an auto journalist. He knew the rules, broke the rules, got caught and then blamed the rules. He's an entitled asshole.

He was on a two lane road doing something like 90. He's an asshole. And it's exactly the same thing these guys were doing - driving well above the speed limit on public roads.

Just an FYI, I got greyed out for making fun of Patrick George’s shitty driving and have never been ungreyed since.

And the fact that they were red, white, and blue is just peak Chevrolet.

“But you should still tip based on the cost of the gold steaks.”

It’s ease of entry that put me into a crossover (and will put me into a proper 4x4 later this year). I have a fucked up hip after decades of sports injuries and until I get it replaced I much prefer the extra ride height for the ease of getting in and out.

Aren’t wagons in USA only expensive Mercedes E class, Audi RS6 and a Subarus with CVT?

All this means is that a crossover doesn’t work for you, not that crossovers don’t make sense for most people. Sales numbers of crossovers (and wagons) don’t lie.

Some have done it already. We have Speedway as one of our stations in MA. All of them have upgraded to chip readers. I know 1 thing for sure: I am not going inside to read my chip, I’ll go to a speedway instead.

Totally agree with all of this. I currently commute in a hatchback but then I see crossovers(especially hybrids) meeting or exceeding my real world average of 33mpg and think: more space wouldnt hurt! Larger may be more comfortable! I only drive on the highway so I don’t really care how well it handles or accelerates

I don’t own a crossover, but it’s ride height, AWD, ease of entry, and cargo space, the same as it always has been.

I think the problem isn’t just ‘needing a computer’. If I remember right, it’s like dealer only diagnostic tools with cars. It’s that it has to be a Deere authorized mechanic with a proprietary set of hardware that they won’t sell you, and you can’t just use any old laptop.

Yeah, here’s a quote from one of the earlier
