I doubt 6 weeks will do much. Any issues will be found not by GM engineers, but by paying customers 2 years after launch after which GM will just deny the issue exists and quietly update it without admitting fault or remedying early adopters.

It’s legitimately amazing to me that you can go buy a demon or hellcat from a dealership. Tell someone 15 years ago you could get a 10s car with a warranty for under 100k and they’d be beyond shocked.

I kinda hold the reverse opinion. The GT-R’s no surprise as there’s not a whole helluva lot different between the initial model years and one you can buy new. You’re only getting a “discount” on the usage as the styling and performance is essentially the same. I’d hedge a bet once the GT-R everyone really wants…
