We had a class that taught that at my highschool. It was called “Home Ec.”
Which side is the “wrong” side here?
Very interesting exchange, particularly from a legal standpoint. The defense is hedging with this super ultra clumsy playing-dumb crap in an attempt to make the plaintiff have to legally define what criteria are required to claim “being Black” without actually asking the question directly.
Madness. The C7 is hardly a bad place to be, is faster, and unless you’re buying a new one is significantly cheaper.
20 bucks is 20 bucks.

Get rid of these damned autoplay videos with sound!
Yes, and he’s right. The statute is design to punish worse dealers who go “Oh, we changed your oil and replaced your fuel filter,” but didn’t DO that. It is not designed to punish ordinary negligence in “oh, we changed your oil, but did it poorly.” One represents a fraud on the customer, the other is just negligent.
If you really want to blow your mind, just look up some public records about you and where you live (if its a house).
Lol. If you don’t think that the plates, cups, and the silverware handles have the exact same germs on them as the parts that go into people’s mouths, I have that bridge too far to sale you.
Wait what? So out of all the other gross stuff that has to be picked up off the table, a snot rag is a bridge too far? Are you worried about getting sick? Because if there was a sick customer at the table, pretty much everything that person touched is contaminated. You should start wearing gloves when you bus tables…
If I’m so sick that my tissues are full of radioactive waste, I won’t be out in public, of course.
Most sit down restaurants? There’s certainly trash in the back of house, but most non-fast food restaurants don’t keep their trash in the dining space.

“falls short of expectations”
WTF
Well, I think there’s four options.
“I can give you a quote and potentially lose the sale, or I can refuse to give a quote, and definitely lose the sale.
That's exactly right.
I don’t know whether to laugh or get mad at these responses. It’s almost like they don’t want to sell to informed consumers who do their prep, rather take advantage of the sucker who walks in the door with absolutely no clue.
