The right answer is unquestionably a used Lexus LS or GS. A few year old GS 350 AWD F Sport is pretty nice looking.

I mean, couldn’t *one* of you have given him a reasonable answer?  The only non-troll answer is the Acadia, and he literally said he had no use for an SUV.  I get that there’s a comedy element, but I thought there were supposed to be a few helpful suggestions?

I was shocked when I went to my local Wendy’ a couple weeks ago and the price of the Junior Bacon Cheeseburger had gone upwards of $2. That thing was sacred in high school; a dollar burger that was good! For a dollar (or three) you could have a really decent lunch.

“I’m counting on another recession and $5 a gallon gas to bring the new 500 here.”

$5 gas will not kill SUV, if $5 gas kills the suv it will kill all cars. SUV’s get close to passenger car mileage now. With 4 cyl engines and Hybrids they are not the lumbering beasts of the early 2000's

Isn’t worth it? If going to a place where they fresh-cook regular breakfast items can’t beat a MCD’s then the places near you SUCK.

The Chipotle Chicken Loaded Griller was also a pretty cheap and tasty thing I would sometimes eat. Far better than the $1 Cheesy Bean and Rice Burrito, which was not so much “cheesy” as it was sloppy and bland.

Unions are good, the UAW is bad. That was hard.

Those are solidly 1st world problems.

As someone who is also in a Michigan “Chrysler family”, yeeeesh that’s not a good progression. I just certainly hope it’s a newer Jeep Compass and not the first-generation.

...she has consistently been let down by the brand.

To be fair, the 1.8t runs on regular and is spec’ed for 87. The mpg difference between the diesel (avg 41mpg) and gas (avg 33mpg) wasn’t enough for me to make up the cost difference in both the car and the fuel and the maintenance.

That big wing out back ... pretty much consumes whatever semblance of rear visibility the Corvette may have had.

I mean, don’t they always catch flak that the “chevy” keeps going up in cost? If you want it to be fancy as well they need to charge more. That’s a lot of power and capability under 150k. The ZR1 has always been about “fast above all else”

Then you’re likely the only contributor besides David Tracy that has that kind of experience and that begs the question of why you’re griping about this if you know what pretty pieces that don’t make the car faster will do to the price. It also doesn’t help us to know the context of your perspective when your short bio

I can’t listen to anyone make excuses for that in a halo car

And it’ll get spanked by a ZR1

Sounds a lot like Kurt is still butt hurt he wasn’t invited to the initial press gathering. Expecting it to have the same interior as cars that cost more and can’t touch its performance......  you can’t have everything, especially on a budget. And there are plenty of  complaints with issues on those $175k slower cars.

For that kind of power and performance for that price, something has to give right?
