Yay, crazy Hyundai! Go 80s Toyota crazy!

Ford Ecoboost V-6 = Premium Gas. Which is pretty similar, price wise, to diesel. At least in N.W. Ohio. And I'd rather have a diesel, that typically can run for 100,000's of miles, rather than a high stressed, turbo V-6. It will be interesting to see if these Ford turbo motors last in these trucks under heavy load

While the EcoBoosts do have some impressive performance numbers, they don't get the MPG they advertise. My parents have the 3.5 EB in their 2013 F150 and when unloaded they can't dream of getting the advertised numbers, when loaded or towing the MPG is worse than the 5.4L it replaced. I bet the EcoDiesel beats EPA

As much as it saddens me to liken Chrysler cars to the level of Ford, the approach of Dodge being the performance brand just makes me gitty. I only wish Pontiac were still around to enter a horsepower war with them.

Also, the irony of a Ram being the only thing not rammed is not lost on me

Do you honestly think people dropping 55-58k on a truck are overly concerned if gas goes from 2 bucks to 3 a gallon? Gas prices affect the buyer spending 12-15k, people dropping 45+ don't care.

38k gets you a brand new Ram 2500 single cab with a solid axle, diesel and manual box. They rot on the lot at that spec, why haven't you bought one?

Crew Cab pickup trucks are the ultimate car guy family hauler. Comfortable on long trips, tons of room in the back seat, big V8 for power, 4wd for crap weather, 2WD when you want to have fun, capable of hauling a track toy and plenty of room in the bed for home projects. Win/win.

I seriously cannot believe burts made it to #1— obviously no one with chapped/ cracked lips voted because that damn shit is FULL of peppermint oil to BURN your mutha effn lips off.

Now playing

The one above is the easy level. He doesn't even have a dolly. This guy is one step ahead.

I've seen people do the reverse of this in the winter to improve fuel economy and speed up engine warm up: hot air intakes ducted closer to the exhaust manifold.

One thing I wish you would mention Andrew is that the F150's rebates are less than half that of the Silverado's and Ram's. And that's on top of the fact that F150's are always 1-3K more for a similarly equipped truck.

I agree. People who buy into the "Eco" part of "ecoboost" are fooling themselves into thinking that they will get V8 power AND V6 fuel economy. Its the same trick they pull in the ads, they tell you both the best EPA mileage figures and the best available horsepower figures, or payload or towing, etc but its only in

I could not disagree with this more. I had a flat floor in my 2012 GMC and found that I always had shit sliding around in my truck.

16.8 for the EB 3.5 isn't surprising at all, but still terrible.

Good old Walmart. Always looking out for number one, he just goes right on through. haha.

Walmart truck driver: "Pardon me whilst I squeeze by here, can't be late ... got lots of cheaply-made housewares to deliver"

Every car with automatic headlights does this.

I'm thankful that even my 2012 Ram has this feature. I love it. But yes should be mandatory. Lights are on in the rain so others can see you, not so you can see them

Friends dad got sued by a guy he used the paddles on to revive from a stopped heart saying it left burn marks on him. Guy lost, walked out of the courtroom and my friends dad said next time he will just let him die. He quit his job as an EMT after that.
