I read this whole article and this was all I could think of.

Clearly the data centre needs to be more like the Zuck's private lair.

This kind of answer just perpetuates the feeling that Industrial/UX/UI designers are arrogant, egotistical types that think they know-oh-so-well how something should be used and that "users" are all idiots. The stuck-up attitude that "we-know-what-you-need-and-you-have-no-idea-what-you-need".

if you're worried about "artist" being an oversimplification of what you do, I can understand that. But what's wrong with being both an ID AND and artist?
