@isotrex: This, sadly, is so true. I introduced a non-tech friend of mine to bittorrent (with a strong speech about safety and the RI** watching) . I came over to his house a few weeks later and he had ~250GB of porn downloaded. It was ridiculous.

@ndgreen: What kind of iPod? Personally, I'm not a fan of Apple's methods, so I've put the rockbox firmware on my old 3rd gen iPod video so I could be completely free from iTunes.
@Painguin: Even if it was just balanced, it'd be a huge step up.
I know it broke the record fast, but that 2.5 million seems pretty weak when you figure that 20 million people bought the game. I'm wondering if it was priced at $10 if they would have sold 5 million by now. If that was the case, they would have an extra 12.5 Million dollars in revenue.
@Kaneda: You get one internet win. That's the funniest thing I've read all day.
@gogt200: Halo matchmaking takes a lot longer thant the MW2. And a MW2 game seem shorter than a Halo game in my mind's eye. I bet that could account for a lot of it, since it seems like you could get two games of MW2 in for every one of Halo.
@Seepgood: Hmm, maybe I'm wrong (or what I read was BS) Because, yeah, the timeline doesn't make sense. Unless they took 7 years to complete Dune.
I read somewhere a long time ago that Kyle MacLachlan turned down the part of Luke Skywalker to play Paul Atriedes in the Dune movie instead. Doh.
@ndgreen: The answer you are looking for is drop the steaming pile of garbage that is iTunes and go get MediaMonkey and the Google album art script.
@psychiccheese: Do you have the discogs script for MM? It's the way to go if you're tagging vinyl. You can even filter the search results by 7" singles or 12" albums.
@easymacfu001: The Godfather rocks, and it's what I used for years. Though everything I did in The Godfather now can be done in MediaMonkey, and usually a bit better. The allmusic script for it was awesome though, and is sorely missed in MM.
@(Starman) 258, Brigadier-General of the FireWire Battalion: Classical music is problematic to say the least. I usually put the specific performer's name in the "involved people" field with the instrument they're playing.
@lunarworks: A standard fight is 15 minutes...
@Wirbelwind: Heh, that's funny I remember being in awe over the graphics in Final Fight in the arcade as a kid. Maybe the XBLA version has been mucked about with?
@Arken: My roommate used to refer to pizza as "za", I wanted to punch his stupid face every time he did so.
@Sloopydrew: That's a shame, because in my book the original movie is a classic.
@doubtful: Oh definitely, and if the QoS on game packets is prioritized the same as bittorrent packets, there will be problems.
@doubtful: Games actually don't take much bandwidth, but Netflix/Last.FM/Hulu etc. does, and that's going to be an issue for "entertainment" consoles.
@NinjaMarion: I don't have a choice if I factor in the speed of the other (DSL) ISPs in my area. Comcast is the only game in town if I want 20 Mb/4Mb speed. The best the DSL ISPs can offer is somewhere around 12Mb/2Mb.
@infmom: It might be going a bit overboard, but I installed VMware Server and a FreeDOS virtual machine so I could play the text-based version of Nethack.
