@dracoirs: Heh, I've had sort of the same problem. I have an EA ID, XBox live profile, Battlefield Heroes Profile, A profile for each Hero in Battlefield Heroes, and an EA classic ID profile linked into my account. None of them accept veteran status, and it's a terrible mess.

So, is this going to have a coherent plot unlike the games?

I am interested in this product and would like to hear more about it.

@MaWeiTao: Yeah I remember getting to Lvl40 in COH and from then on out everything was a horrible, horrible grind. Lvls 30-40 were just a mediocre grind.

I used Transcode360 for years, but I couldn't get it to work with Windows 7, even after following the exact guide linked to. This was the RC though, I haven't tried it with the final version.

@nuri2fast: Yeah, it doesn't matter so much what happens in May on the 360, the Reach Beta will overtake most everything.

@GeneralBattuta: There's still no mute, and the matchmaking takes about as long as Halo 3 (yeesh!).

@Striderhayasa - Can we get some damn m/kb support?!: Wow, so not true, I'm a Marine all the time and the aliens are fast. Fishdinner must not be using the sprint button. And unlike other games with sprint (MW2 for instance) you can still attack while sprinting.

@Nubius, day dreams of finishing Persona 4.: Actually, in MP the Marine is a tad overpowered as they have the only weapon in the game that shoots and hits what your aiming at instantly. I'm stuck on MP so far, so I haven't even started the campaigns but I have couple people I semi-trust online that really liked…

@The_Nick316: I love my chat pad. For one thing it makes the controller larger and nicer to hold. It's also easier for people to read a text message while playing than it is to listen to a voice message. And the bonus is that when you're naming characters/saves/mechs you don't have to use that on-screen keyboard.

@mfaulken: For me it's not nearly as important as having a 16:9 aspect ratio. The rest is all gravy.

@Dalhamir: DHT (trackerless torrents) don't have a central server that the torrent checks in on, and thus there is no "master list" to get.

@Michael Kong: It's a shame that the NFL is so draconian about shutting streams down, it's not like people watching aren't seeing the commercials.

@thesircuddles: Well, I was fine with a re-skinned COD4, because COD4 was a very solid game. Trey Arch even improved the weapon balance (Not perfected), granted the MP40 was still ez-mode.

@KillerOrca: Like others say, it's no big deal. The bonus is that if you play some other games (older Battlefield games in this instance) you get rewareded with "veteran" status and different guns from the get-go, such as the M1 Garand if I'm mistaken.
