This.
I’m waiting for Nissan to officially announce it is pulling out of Sunderland. That is going to be an epic tantrum maker. Sunderland’s Brexit vote was peak English delusion of self importance.
Completely missing the point. It’s not about the shutdown, it’s about a social safety net that’s been whittled away down to almost nothing so that companies like Morgan Stanley (who got a $107 Billion bailout during the last crisis) don’t have to pay taxes.
Also restaurants even in good times have ridiculous amounts of turnover. While they will certainly close en masse they will be back in the future. It will be part of the overall COVID dip.
Neutral: I gotta go with the Colorado River Irrigation Company, land developers who wanted to irrigate a bunch of land in the Coachella Valley in California by diverting the Colorado River through a series of canals. In 1905, the Colorado flooded and overwhelmed the canals and over the next 18 months, water spilled…
It has always been a stalking horse to destroy employment rights; and with the whole prop 22 bullshit, it has basically achieved its goals. The only employment opportunities in the wider workforce from now on will almost certainly be gig-style employment no matter the industry. We’ve basically given bro-billionaires…
Here’s the thing: when your country’s safety net has become the charitable whims of a very wealthy few, there’s not a lot to celebrate about this story.
it reminds me of NFS:Underground the solid paint on cars looked exactly like that
Again, Uber has always been and always will be a scam. Its literally unpossible for it to be profitable. Its merely a MLM scheme to make first investors rich and to launder Saudi/Softbank cash.
So my 400+HP (stage 3 modded) AWD 6 speed manual 2007 V70R with 4 wheel 4 pot brembos clamping 13" rotor on all 4 corners with adjustable suspension and a 3rd row seat is worth between 9 and 10k on a good day and this 22 y/o family cruiser with a n/a “4 point great” and a slush box is worth almost $14k.....???? Has…
FRONT PLATE STATES ARE INFRINGING ON MY FREEDOMS HERE IN NEVADA!
If the Temp Drops into the 20's and it wont start the battery is dead. I used to leave my POS Dodge outside and drive it once a week and it would hit Minus 20 is and still start.
interstates are just fine, and my local costco carries them.
We used to use Optimas at the shop, but they would die constantly...they’re really terrible batteries, and expensive as Hell to boot. Once we switched them to Interstate, we stopped having issues. Now the fancy cars get Interstate, and our personal vehicles get Super Start (O’Reilly’s brand.)
Good advice - a $25 battery tender can keep you from having to spend a lot more on a new battery AND being hosed when you need your car to go somewhere.
Charge/Discharge cycles kill batteries as well. You let a battery go flat and jump it a couple times, and the battery will be done. They don’t like to be drained all…
And the design firm probably billed 40 million Euro for their innovative, bold reworking of the logo.
I am a design director who frequently annoys engineers and graphic designers at my company with my overzealous attention to detail. Other than the type face, this is phenomenal waste of time. Thinning out the circle by that amount does not change the visual impression of the logo to any meaningful degree.
That’s like 17 fucking years old. God, we’ve been on the internet a long time now.
