I don’t understand why they didn’t jump into WEC.  That’s the only place that still has a good number of cars in the GT class. Of course Ford and BMW are gone, but Porsche, Ferrari, and Aston have always lead to great races against the Corvettes.  Was sad to not see the new C8 at LeMans this year.

It’s all because McConnell acknowledged Biden as the next president.

The tiny taillights really make it look huge.

There are quite a few lowered trucks in my area.  Sure a lot of hispanic people too, but the more recent gen silverados (not this monstrosity in the main post), actually look quite good lowered.

Less than $20k?

Society has created the puppetmaster though. It’s nearly impossible to function in our nation without supporting oil companies. Want to buy food? Most of it likely has a petroleum product in the packaging.

Ok guys, I gotta know what laws they’re following to be road legal. It obviously doesn’t pass pedestrian crash safety, and I don’t see any room for side curtain airbags. Shoot the steering wheel doesn’t even have an airbag.  There are a few other things I notice off the cuff too like the headlights being blocked by

It doesn’t actually look like a pathetic result though. NCAP just has crazy standards now. This would have been a 5 star crash ten years ago.

The other problem is capitalism has created a ‘fend for yourself’ society. It’s hard to want to make the right choices to change our lifestyles for the greater good, when those choices are more expensive or more restrictive in some way (like EVs). Until we make those choices the better financial choice, we’re fucked.

There are plenty of people that still think a) think climate change isn’t real or b) that is isn’t anthropomorphic, so changing what we do is only to make certain people rich.

I’ve carved back my vehicle travel considerably. I don’t go out unless I absolutely have to. So it’s a wild to me that we’ve only seen the smallest dent in emissions growth.”

This just proves how little automotive traffic adds to our global carbon footprint. Yes, it adds some, but there are some major greenhouse gas

To be fair, it lets you know to avoid that dealer completely. If they’re lying about that/too lazy it’s a good sign the car isn’t telling you everything.

There is something really cool about a train plowing through snow at full chat, but...do you even clear snow, bro?

It probably does pull it a bit, but those rigs are so damn heavy I doubt it has much of an effect. Especially at plowing speeds.

I think so? The wheels are definitely adjusted to copy the direction of motion.  But still likely more a trailer where they don’t dynamically change direction and are entirely related to the angle of the trailer.

Here in CO I’ve seen them exclusively used for the right lane/shoulder, probably for that very reason.

It’s definitely the best looking CUV right now. I’m glad they made something that looks friendly.

While I also despise CUVs, better visibility and a more comfortable driving position as well as easier ingress/egress isn’t exactly pointless. Especially for the average driver.

It’s a beautiful thing to see them going like this.

I’ve not heard of a monocoque that uses structural body panels though...
