Gotta agree with that first bit. Drove from CO (good compliance) to a mountain cabin in AZ. People in AZ did not give a shit. New Mexico had signs on the highway saying wearing a mask in businesses was required.

That hemi-powered car looks rad...
The 787b was just another iteration of a car Mazda had been using for a while. It started with the 717C in C2, then the 737C, 757 after that, then a 767 where we first saw the orange/green livery, and finally the 787b. They had been working on this formula for a very long time.
Other newsworthy items it seems Jalopnik recently missed:
The blue/white car was the sister car in the same race. It just doesn’t get the same attention because it didn’t win. It did finish in 6th place though.
Ok... you talking about current deaths in row 8. And yeah they’re lower than some. But the case rate is dramatically increasing. People don’t usually die immediately. Those death numbers will go up.
This gif is bizarre...
Is that really gonna work? Is there a build thread for this? There’s always more than an engine that has to fit in there, and that’s not a small engine... the height looks like the biggest difference.
Wow I didn’t realize they made multiples. I have a buddy who was able to photograph one of em when he worked in SoCal. I’m not a big hot rod guy but that thing is awesome...
That’s why you gotta look at the blue line which is normalized over 7 days. You’ll notice there are always big drops on the weekend and spikes on mondays/tuesdays. That’s due to when the tests are being processed (it still takes days to process a test...), a lot of testing facilities don’t work weekends.
That 8th column shows current rates. You see the case rate going up? Guess what comes next...
The original Pink Pig was the ultimate in aerodynamics and trackability.
They both suck. The model Y sucks a little less.
Have you seen the rear of it? It’s terrible.
If this really was a test flight, the pilot was being a damn moron. Who changes throttle like that on a test flight? Pilot obviously wasn’t capable of handling it and was making bad decisions.
Weird to call out LeMans when they have significantly more advanced electric powertrains that have helped advance the technology.
Reminds me of when I got into an argument with a guy about what System of a Down’s BYOB meant. Somehow “Why do we always send the poor?” did not compute in his brain.
Shoot most of the good rock out there criticizes the govt, but conservatives don’t get it...
To be fair, most N95 masks can’t be reused. Once particulates get trapped in them they can’t just be washed out. They’re trapped forever. Then the mask isn’t usable. Those masks are a double-edged sword. Excellent at trapping everything and filtering, but not reusable.
One of those is deliberately fired into crowds of people.
The design is god awful and doing it ‘so it would stand out’ is a terrible justification.
