I hear you on the back issues. Went from a “gaming chair” because I didn’t know any better to an office chair (Steelcase Leap v2) and felt my health was well worth the money.
I thought Val Kilmer made a good Batman.
Re: Financing. I have a short story. Back in the day, I bought my first car. Had enough to pay for it in cash, but the offer the dealer had was that if I financed it, they’d deduct $2K off the vehicle. I said “ok” and paid it off by the second payment. They got ~$40 in interest, but I got $2K off the price.
Had a co-woker who always got designer things. They earned over $100K a year and complained they couldn’t afford a nicer trim on their new vehicle, which was about $1000 more than their current trim. $1K on a 36 mo payment would have been less than $30/mo. I can’t imagine how thin their credit must have been stretched.
That’s great you guys can do that responsibly. After all, you can’t take it with you. So long as you have the money, go for it.
DINK, eh? I’ve been called a DINKWAD before. Dual Income No Kids With A Dog.
At least some items can be “buy it for life” like all wood furniture. That’ll last a long time with proper care.
However, buying designer things doesn’t necessarily equal quality. Of course, living beyond one’s means is a good way to get into that debt cycle.
considering almost every title has been available on the PS4
listening to how much worse off other people are makes them feel better about themselves.
Without GTA3 the do-anything, sandbox/open world type game in a 3D world wouldn’t have proliferated over the past two decades. It really set the tone and its impact is huge.
What’s your current brand of choice?
What. The. Hell.
No worries. I still enjoyed the story of collating the rumors and news so far. It’ll be interesting to see where the Switch2 ends up.
Nintendo has only once previously released a backward compatible console: the Wii U. Even the 3DS wouldn’t play DS carts...
Agreed. All is to say, while Stanley is currently ‘hot’, the price doesn’t seem outrageous among other comparable brands.
A regular Stanley Quencher 30 oz is $35 as well. This particular collab model is priced the same at retail. That said, there are plenty of high quality tumblers for a lot less. Yeti, Hydro Flask, even knock offs can be decent.
It’s like the story about the guy who invented the intermittent wipers.
Some suggest that if you wait 24 in-game hours all the items in the chest will respawn; however, I waited double that and still didn’t see this happen. Maybe I’m encountering a bug
“Excuse me, would you like to come over and check out my really long Pong? You can even play with it after I fiddle around a bit to get it working just right. Hang on, I happen to have a pic of it on my phone, but you really have to see it in person. Wait! Where are you going? ... Huh, that’s the 27th time someone’s…
