It would be fine - the not letting her use it, not the saying she could then changing their minds which is just a dick move whatever your stance on marijuana - if she was operating heavy machinery or driving vehicles or something, since you can’t do those jobs on plenty of other legal medications either due to them

My exact thoughts. Why the fuck was there not a cruiser parked outside her house 24/7 or she and the son in protective custody? The victim is always the biggest witness an he was bound to want her dead for that alone (plus as an abuser he probably wanted her dead for defying him by escaping)

Charlotte got a late surge in votes. I don’t think they were choosing from a shortlist. I think the poll was basically ‘what should we call this baby?’ and people sent in suggestions. You could probably see previous suggestions and second them since it was an online vote, but I don’t think Charlotte was suggested

Well your explanation is way clearer than mine was going to be! I was going to make that point by saying ‘drunks bounce’. Well done for being so informative! (no, seriously, that sounds sarcastic even to me, it isn’t meant to)

Still not all that helpful though because the whole point is there’s no human involvement so there’s no way to ensure the person blowing into the breathalyser is the person who will drive the car. Her friend was happy to let her drive while drunk, upset, and using a mobile phone (two of which she definitely knew about

Not to mention the 18 years of child support he’s probably hoping for.

To which the answer is, yeah because that’s worked so well up til now. In general I’m against violence but sometimes you gotta scream and shout and break things before anyone listens to you. How many more people need to be murdered by police officers before it’s OK to start being a bit destructive?

Well his business *is* closing because of bigots... specifically the one running it.

Well we wouldn’t want anyone to forget that its totally not normal to have female heroes. If you don’t make up a silly word how would people remember that when talking about heroes the default assumption should be that we mean men.

Considering the fact the couple DO NOT know whether it’s a boy or a girl it can hardly be a sign of anything anyway unless they think she already had it in secret somewhere...

Its not illegal to ‘go missing’. She may get fined for having the kid miss school without reason but otherwise shes done nothing wrong. God knows I’d love to go missing for a month sometimes, well apart from the whole no internet which I would not be able to do, but I have responsibilities I can’t walk away from.

Reclaiming actually is a thing. Mostly because the original purpose of the headscarf was to allow women to participate fully in society rather than being locked away at home. Before the headscarf in order to not appear immodest by allowing herself to be seen by men she’s not related to (shock horror) women could not

Donate your body to a body farm or to medical science or something then. Although I think there’s a *waiting list* for body farm donations...

There’s a national organisation of bikers who will turn up to picketed funerals, surround the funeral to keep the WBC at bay and if necessary rev engines to drown out any chanting/slogans.

I know it has a lot to do with the lighting and the photographer’s skill and all but wow she has the most gorgeous skin ever.

I don’t know about charming, but it’s rather endearingly honest and says some positive things about your relationship that he doesn’t feel the need to make up some excuse for knowing about the naked issue and when it is.

ROFL The name and identity of the monkey has been changed to protect the innocent ... Your interpretation implies a much more interesting anecdote than I was relating.

That’s why I said I wouldn’t judge that specific photo op. In general, things like that are bad, but it does depend on the skill of the handler, the nature of the individual animal, and how they balance welfare v financial benefits (for instance if they’re willing to remove the animal the second they see a sign of it

Depends on the circumstances. If you and the handler understand the animal and how it reacts the danger is minimal (it’s never zero with a wild animal). If you don’t understand its behaviour and body language then yeah you might think you’re being friendly and it might think you’re aggressive and its going to put

I had no clue but I am notoriously unobservant and tend to be the last one to know on any kind of celebrity stuff.
