Yes! Addams Family Values is that rare case (like Godfather II) where the sequel is better than the already good original.

There are two main problems, everything else is just window dressing.

Since this is probably the only way to get overworked Americans to actually take time off of work I’d be down for a Gold and Silver week. Congestion wouldn’t be as bad because the US is so much bigger and has so many places that people could go. Staying local is also a decent option.
