Felt we saw more of those personas even with angry Ben than Keaten, Kilmer, Clooney and even Bale. Bale might have the edge of fake playboy (I can’t take Keatan’s sweater’s seriously), but none of them ever do any detecting. Felt like Ben did some detecting early on before he went into full Crazy Steve rage mode.

Marvel is guility of this too. Widow being shoe-horned into Iron Man 2 (along with Fury and the rest of Shield constantly referring to Thor). Thor’s weird bath scene in Age of Ultron. Iron Man 1, Cap 2, and Guardians are the only moves that didn’t have a ton of in movie ground work.

I think we needed to see a clip of Darkseid to tie that Knightmare dream in. No one outside of DC fans get what was going on there or who Lex was talking about.

Easy. Superman has x-ray vision and Bats doesn’t know about lead blocking that yet.

I know you put it with AoU, but AoU pulled the same crap with dreams setting up new movies.

My guess is some kind of armor to allow him to time travel. An overly flashy (no pun intended) wearable cosmic treadmill.

Just go see it. The movie is the definition of a Base Breaker, but there are just as many people who like it that dislike it.

Like to add teasing Darkseid, but I’m a sucker for the New Gods. I feel safe in saying Affleck plays the best Bruce Wayne on film.

The Knightmare scene will payoff in JL, which is the same problem the random Thor bath scene had in AOU. It is just set up for a future movie.

Preach

No they didn’t. That should of been cut out. Was just a dumb way to get over that Doomsday is unkillable, and get that panel from DKR of a zombie Superman.

He doesn’t do that anymore though. He is out saving people constantly post MOS.

Because this is an older Frank Miller Batman, and the only one who watched Superman (and Zod) destroy most of Metropolis and kill his co-workers (who he thinks of as extended family). On top of already having a dead Robin cause him to retire. Dude has super PTSD that manifested into xenophobia that was majorly

Also he made a point NOT to destroy the city this time, and they showed him going out of his way to save people for all little reasons. Hell he stopped stalking Bruce to go save some random people in a fire.

Just some more punching, or maybe fallout. They got the R by accident (it happens sometimes with PG-13 films. The third’s Hobbit’s first cut came back an R). There isn’t anything gory in there from what the MPAA said.

They are twin cities in that they originally are fictional ideas of New York City. Metropolis is NYC during the day, Gotham at night. That evolved over the years of course.

Well he was really more Bizzaro than Doomsday in his creation. Doomsday only ate the nuke, and they followed some comic canon that Doomsday is basically unkillable, you wound him and he just evolves and becomes stronger. Superman is just a solar battery.

The dream meant Darkseid is coming. Big Omega symbol and Parademons plus some Apoklypse looking hell pits. The scene is most likely some alternate future (also a shout out to Injustice: God’s Among Us) that Lois dying leaves Superman succeptable to Darkseid’s brainwashing (which has happened in the comics and animated

Nuke thing was one of many pulls from Dark knight Returns. That scene wasn’t needed, but it has source material.

Maybe Lex is just that damn good? Everyone got fooled by the goofiness, but he is the ultimate chess master.
