Um. Isn't the entire point of the Snowdon/NSA story about privacy? I realize that Instagram and a blog are public, but something about posting this woman's photos, writings, and captions all over the internet (which were primarily meant, presumably, for friends and family) and commenting on them in a snarky manner

My comment got deleted as well, as did Dodai's. My respect for her is completely gone. Deleting dissenting comments is a horrible way to contribute to a meaningful discussion. Her responses were also classless and snarky without any kind of intelligent rebuttal.

So just dismissing criticisms about how your website handled coverage of a 15-year-old girl's suicide attempt is completely fine? Your response really, really saddens and disappoints me. I thought that maybe you guys would take the criticism and do something constructive with it. I was apparently quite wrong.

OH my goodness she's adorable!

So true-whoa!

Yes. The suit is perfection. (why the snark, Dodai?)

That Kanye-fetus GIF is the most disturbing and glorious thing I have seen all day, nay, week.

....old white men CAN feel sad and be victimized. This man's case isn't the best example of this, but ageism does exist and automatically discrediting someone's complaint due to their gender and race was probably not the best way to write this story.

Preach it!

Totally agree. I was with her and then she said "I don't call myself a feminist." WHYZ. Own it!

God, he's perfection.

Yes Brigitte, yes.

God she's fierce. GORGEOUS.

I TOTALLY get where you're coming from. I always feel really uncomfortable divulging anything about my personal life-if things are bad, you sound whiny, and if things are good, you can easily sound braggy. Where's the Emily Post book on this?

OMG. Doctor Weiner would be comedy perfection. Jon Stewart would have a field day!

One more thing: I did look through Katie's columns and she indeed has written negatively about Quinn's positions, so I probably just read too much into it because the author has clearly done her research on Quinn and knows what she's talking about.

I did say that she mentioned it, I merely said she skimmed over it. Furthermore, I did say that the support was never clearly stated, only implied. Also, your comment about "lacking in reading comprehension" is a pretty rude way to engage in a conversation. I didn't say anything horrible and/or rude, so I see no

I think the article actually does make the point that Quinn should win solely because of her gender and sexuality, however subtly, because while Weiner is attacked numerous times for his stupid mistake, Quinn's awful positions are merely skimmed over. The support is implied, and I agree, it's irresponsible and naive

Marion. What a gorgeous lady. Pretty sure if I tried to do that I'd end up looking like this:

Really? I wonder if it's because I live in a state prone to drought, so the crops aren't always readily plenty. I love local markets-they have great quality items and are so important to the local economy.
