to this day i still don't understand what happened there. it's like an episode of the twilight zone. regardless of facebook's reasons ... why would they sell it to facebook ? why didn't other actual tech companies make this purchase - it's not like they don't have the money ( google, microsoft, amazon, etc ).

facebook

well ... even if i didn't have a worry in the world, i didn't have absolutely nothing to do and i have no worry about money or responsibilities ... if i had absolutely nothing to do ... it still wouldn't make sense.

so ... i still believe they're paid actors. or the news are manufactured ( after all i've never

i sometimes stumble over these kinds of news ( people sleeping outside the store to get x product ) ... and i have to say - to this day - i'm still convinced that this is all just part of marketing campaigns, those people are paid actors to project a certain image for the product ...

it just is inconceivable to me

holy shit ... i look at this and i get chills down my spine. i get that the issues are vast, empty spaces between cities or whatever ... but still ... these prices man, are chilling ... :S

the more i stumble on this debate, and this chick since she seems to be at the center of it ( and not in a good way if you ask me - but that's my opinion and i accept that it doesn't matter ), the more i realize that there is only one solution for this problem:

no more women in games. not as playable characters, not

show me the last time a woman was stalked, harassed, and threatened to being raped because she played a video game.

pretty sure that's not the case. while i'm not denying there may be some morons out there that are somehow threatened by her so called ideas pretty sure most gamers don't care that much as to even bother opening an email client to send her a death threat.

while it's only my opinion and i could be wrong ... i'm willing

The GDC website describes the Ambassador Award as one that goes to "an individual or individuals who have helped the game industry advance to a better place, either through facilitating a better game community from within, or by reaching outside the industry to be an advocate for video games and help further our art."

ok ... am i crazy or might a 10v10 be interesting to test ? as in 20 gamers each controlling a single player on the pitch for the duration of the entire match ...

i get his point ... but at the same time i think comments are very important. but he can't really do anything about it.

google should on the other hand. to this day i can't really get why they don't do something about it.

off the top of my head put up a system where at a fixed number of reports for a user he no longer

you might very well be right ... i just don't do it. it always feels like i would be begging.

almost 28 ... basically one step in the grave ... too late to find another occupation now ... :A

i know it's weird. i just don't do it. never have. i've actually been in situations where i did a small purchase ( it was a pair of headsets ) that didn't work and later that day i went to another store and bought another pair.

i guess i just want to avoid the headaches of taking something back, talking to the buy,

but exactly - you don't know what you're getting. evident in the various games that have enraged players in the past year.

anyways ... that's just me. i could be wrong, i could be right ... to me it seems like a scam.

true, but it doesn't make it any less of a scam if you ask me. but hey, that's just me ...

it is an awesome system. for the devs and store you're buying from. but that's about it.

for you, as a user i just don't see any advantages.

pay full price for a game that's not even half finished sometimes ? how is that in your advantage ? i would maybe understand if you paid just an entry fee - something small on the

while i do agree with you to some extent. with games it's not so straightforward.

if some guy buys a car and can't drive for shit should the company that built the car pay for repairs ? or refund his money if he crashes it ?

i know that's a relatively extreme example ... but we don't know it's not HIS fault. maybe it

you're absolutely right about that and i don't buy early access games ... however ... can you deny that some, if not most of these games manipulate the gameplay trailers to make them look a lot more 'playable' and/or 'better' than they really once you actually install the thing ?

maybe you can ... i don't know ...

you know they say rape culture when people tend to blame the victim of a rape and so on and so forth ?

well ... i'm gonna ask - is anyone surprised about this outcome ? ( in regards to the chick with the apparent death threats - i say apparent because this is, after all, the internet )

the first time i saw one of her

while i do agree with valve having to answer for half-assed greenlit games and crappy early releases ( if it were after me they should ban them alltogether ) ... in this particular case i don't see valve having any responsibility.

since it doesn't seem to have anything to do with system requirements ( in which case it
