I'm going to nominate the Datsun 260z. Although available in other countries for more than one year, it was only sold in America in 1974. It is not the best z-car that Datsun made as federal emission regulations meant it had a weaker engine, but it still has the same classic lines as the 240z and is just a damn good

It's not how fast he stops, it's the fact that he slides across the floor for probably twenty feet or so WITHOUT slowing down at all. He only slows down when he gets to the wall. As soon as he starts sliding, he should start slowing down. The rate of his deceleration does depend on the coefficient of friction

The physics issues that bother me the most are:

One night I found myself sitting at a bar next to Brad Leland who played Buddy Garrity on the Friday Night Lights television show and John Aubrey in the movie.

While I don't look forward to having to go to the DMV, I rarely have a bad experience there. Maybe I'm just odd, but I tend to try to make the best of it. I know I'm going to be there for a while, so I just use the time to people watch or make small talk with random strangers.

I'm a Mavs fan, and I remember seeing someone online predicting that OKC would win the series in 6 games.

Reminds me a bit of the camouflage of some German WWI planes...

Yeah, when I read that just now a picture of a doughnut turning into a coffee cup flashed into my head.

Great stuff. I've been reading this feature/column/whatever over on Deadspin.

Ha! The map actually points at the part of Canada I have been to: Windsor, Ontario. I always thought it was interesting that we actually went South from Detroit to get there.

I used to work with a girl from Brazil named Vilma. She did not look like the racial stereotype you mention (I'm assuming I know what you mean), but she did know Portuguese.

Nah, I watch Deadliest Catch and have seen Sarah Palin, you're all crab fishermen who think Paul Revere warned the British, right? lol

Honestly never heard that one. I have a couple friends from CA. One is my best friends wife and I never really think about it, the other one I always talk about her being a Dodgers fan, but otherwise...

I've run into varieties of this when people (online) learn that I live in Texas.

Completely off topic, but your screen name reminded me of it. I went through a fast food drive through recently and the guy at the window had a name tag with "Philip J. Fry" on it. I laughed and asked him about it. He said I was the first person to notice it.

I got mine from Blockbuster when they were selling off their rental Playstation games to make room for new ones. I don't know how much I paid for it, but it wasn't much. But years later I loaned my Playstation games to a friend because I had just gotten my PS2 and didn't play them as much. He moved and lost them

Thanks.

Heh, I was just about to say it looked a lot like Aeon Flux...

Number 5 is a Peugeot, isn't it?

For some reason, just scanning through the titles real quick, I saw "Mega Man" and "Fox" and put things together as "Megan Fox."
