That’s awful. No one should have to make that choice. My husband has an autoimmune disease and I’d hate to know what out life would be like without insurance. He works in cancer research too so were big fans of people getting their medicines and treatment.

It was truly horrible. I don’t wish that kind of experience on anyone, including these asshats who don’t give a shit about my parents...or your parents...or anyone else in the whole goddamn world.

Before ACA, my dad had lung cancer. He was convinced he was going to die so he decided not to treat and leave my mom in horrible debt.
