I joked about MRA's, not men losing their jobs. Also I have no idea why I'm entertaining this conversation with you.

Who the fuck is watching a thirteen year old dance? I feel like if a girl even looked like she might be younger than 18, I'd be uneasy. But I'm also not a disgusting piece of shit.

I know what you mean. I've met plenty of men who would rather be unemployed than take a shit job. Not that women won't do the same, but I consider the whole 'too proud to take a paying goddamn job' attitude mostly a male thing.

Why don't you answer the question about what you would be saying if the genders were reversed?

I love when idiots on the internet act like we're all single-celled organisms that cannot be simultaneously concerned about an issue and able to make a joke about it. Did I say 'this doesn't bother me'? Am I required to detail all of my emotional responses in the comments section of Jezebel? Do you assume that

Can't wait to see MRAs take on this

No, I just meant it's that simple for me (not caring who a stranger is dating and why). I understood her point.

Because white jezzies have the habit of taking a few strongly worded posts by a black feminist and labeling it in their heads as part o 'the black experience."

Yup this. Biracial hair is tough. My husband has straight, asian hair and when he asked me for tips on taking care of it, I realized I had no clue.

I think people interpret it that way because they assume that when he says GOT it titillating, it means he is titillated. GOT nudity is male-gazey, lit a certain way, filmed a certain way. Anyone, regardless of their actual sexual interest, can tell it's meant to titillate.

All I got from this is that no one trusts fat people?

Stop trying to make misogynoir happen. It's not going to happen.

whaaaa? No he isn't using it only for black women lol. I was using Jay-z as an example of someone doing something shitty to women and then rethinking it once it becomes personal because you brought up the 'mothers and daughters' thing.

Black men have been degrading women in hip hop culture since before white men decided to go out and buy into it. What you saw in early videos was a reflection of the type of lives people were living before they even had a name for it.

I almost wish slave owners had been equal parts every race so we could discuss the after-effects of the institution of slavery without someone whining about blaming white people.

I'm a fellow educated black woman and I can't relate at all. But I've never felt pressured to date black men (most of the men I've dated haven't been black, actually.)

People being complete assholes to you because they're upset about something that you didn't do to them is part of life, but I really don't think the victim of the shit talking is the one who should have to examine the reasons behind the anger. 'Intent doesn't matter' applies across the board. But obviously I don't

Especially since she's not even black like what?

All hate comes from 'other issues.' White racists often have resentment because of economic equality. I think your distinction does make it seem intrinsically different when it really isn't. Every single individual has their own issues and background that contribute to various types of prejudices they may have.

Or rather, oogling isn't necessarily sexualization.
