Because that would involve investing in production, advertising, research and development, and more. By partnering with LEGO, they save those kinds of costs, as LEGO is very well established and is known by millions of children and parents worldwide.

I never said it was nonexistent or that the community was too small to be mentioned, I simply said that it was with the introduction of the PS3 and 360 that it exploded, which is probably why it hasn't been mentioned.

Sure, it was introduced with the original Xbox, but it wasn't until this past generation that it became the beast it is today. If I had to guess, they probably wanted to save discussions of online gaming for the third segment.

Who is this guy, Jesse Pinkman?

Hopefully they hop onto Kickstarter or one of the other backing services, I'm sure I'm not alone in wanting to help them out. What a shitty situation.

Oh yeah, set it as a gauntlet, have a script that occasionally plays some sound descriptor with a bunch of random lines while you're walking, and you're golden.

I've been to Florida a few times (Orlando, Destin, Indian Shores, a few other places), and most of the people I met didn't have a southern accent, more of the generic "American" accent. Some of the folks in the first few towns we'd stop in for food would have southern accents, but for the most part, I didn't notice

I live across the river (in Alton, IL) from St. Louis, and we also call it soda here. As do all of the neighboring towns.

Oh I'm sure they're aware of it, but keep in mind they don't have to do anything about it. They essentially have a monopoly on the video sharing site market, it's not as if everyone can just pack up and go somewhere else.

I actually wasn't even aware that this was a bug. I had noticed that I was dying at the same time as the person I was shooting at more often than BF3, but it wasn't to the point to where I thought it was an issue.

Preinstalled != proprietary. Proprietary software is owned exclusively by the creator of said software, and comes with an agreement that limits your use of it (such as how you can't modify Xbox One software without losing your warranty).

Ah, I took it that he would only "put on the charm" during charisma speech checks, for example. I think that if it happens, that's probably how they'll go about doing it.

Oh yeah, of course. Actually, I think I have it somewhere in a drawer... yup, here it is! I'm guessing it's one of the last BIONICLE-related things I own (besides gratuitous amounts of old LEGO magazines), as the sets were sold a few years back.

Man, this really is an old post, but that's pretty awesome. True talent!

I did as well! Collected literally every single set, mask, and well, everything (even the obscure sets like the tiny McDonald's Matoran) that was released between 2000 and 2007. It was quite the collection.
