I always find myself staring more intently at a screen if I see something scary/horrifying, as if I can't tear myself away. Oculus would make the experience quite a bit more scary, though.

That's the same problem I've had. I've only played on two of them so far, and both times the team sets up camp in one area and kills everybody from the other team that tries to go up there and clean them out.
