Good job!

At a temperature that can melt rock, I'm not so sure. The only thing I could imagine surviving there is an airborne species that lives in the atmosphere of the planet, away from the molten surface.

Relative to the planet, if you jump, you will have no horizontal velocity (as when you jump, you are traveling at the same speed as the planet). Imagine jumping straight up on a plane. You wouldn't fly to the back.

The entire planet is likely molten rock. This is a planet that has a surface temperature of 2,240 degrees Fahrenheit.

Hmm, didn't consider shadows, that could be it. Pre-rendered shadows is likely the culprit, then.

Ah, I loved Sleeping Dogs on PC. I can see how action games would work well or better on a controller, however.

If Dishonored is like the engines I've worked on, disableable lights aren't resource intensive (nor are they any different) from regular lights. Not something that consoles would have held back, but a design decision. I've never touched Unreal Engine, so I could be wrong.

For me, Dishonored is one of those games that looks great without high res textures. The same goes for Borderlands or any other highly stylized game.

Trust me, you get used to it. There's a reason why you don't see cross-platform multiplayer (i.e. PC and consoles): mouse/keyboard combo is more accurate and much quicker than a controller.

Definitely a soda can. Love the sound of a nice, cold Pepsi opening.

Looks great here, in fact it looks freaking awesome, but it's still a crime nonetheless.

This is certainly an interesting situation. I would definitely like to know the definition of an ass post.

Comment of the day, anybody?

Grabbed Dead Space, Dragon Age: Origins, and Mass Effect. My ME disc had broken and the product key nowhere to be found, so I'm glad to finally have a working copy again.

I love you.

Ah, I work on open world, non-procedural games, so it takes up quite a bit of space. I'm pretty sure my games folder (games I've bought, not ones that I'm working on) is well over 700GB at this point.

The hell are you on about?

Ha, butthurt. I don't even play the series, but I know a sick individual when I see one.

As somebody who develops and plays a lot of games, I'm running out of space. I only have 3GB left on my 80GB SSD and 20GB free on my 1TB hard drive. I'll probably pick up a 2TB drive soon, just to future-proof myself for a while at least.

I hate trolls. I hate people who go out of their way to spoil things. I do not like the individuals ruining the ending in this article.
