My Physics Honors teacher did something similar in a lot of our tests and quizzes. The number of video game references in his tests made the class so much more enjoyable (though I do enjoy Physics).

I loved Psychonauts when I originally played it on PS2 years and years ago, so needless to say I was pretty excited when I saw it pop up in a Humble Indie Bundle a few months back. Loved replaying it, even if the PC port is pretty terrible.

Black Mesa gave me a strong desire to replay HL2 and its expansions once I've finished it. Definitely the best fan-made remake I've ever had the pleasure of playing.

Ironically enough, RAGE was in development for quite a long time as well. It was first shown off (meaning it had been in dev. before that, even) in 2007, releasing in 2011. Even if it was only in development for a year prior to first being shown off, that's at least five years in development. And that's id, one of the

For as good as Black Mesa is in many areas, the soundtrack is what leaps out and really sucks me into the world. Music and sound design is often one of the more neglected portions of game development in my opinion, so it's great to see a fan-made mod with such well thought out sound design.

I'm a modder, and the SDK (and the game I'm modding) are both Windows-only, unfortunately.

I would say that I prefer OS X to Windows, but unfortunately it is missing software that I need for everyday use, so I've got to use Windows on my desktop. Not that Windows is bad, but I like OS X a bit better.

Ah, right, I never had that scenario come up (I sold my iPad to pay for my Mac, so I haven't had them overlap). I do use Pages on my Mac for all of my papers, so I figure that would be pretty useful.

I don't currently own an iOS device (sold my iPad a month or so ago), but I do own a Retina MacBook Pro with an iPhone 5 on the way. iTunes is modestly faster on OS X (though not as fast as it should be), you get the obvious iCloud integration on both platforms, as well as Tab Syncing on iOS with Safari. Not too many

Owning a Mac adds very little to iOS. You get some iCloud syncing stuff, which is not a big deal anyways.

"AND I CAN PLAY MARIO WITH MY F*CKING SPHINCTER!"

Awesome, thanks!

Took my dad's upgrade that he didn't want/need, so I'll have to now call AT&T and convince them to drop the $20 data plan that he won't need with his current phone. I wonder if I'll get to yell at some poor customer service reps tomorrow... I guess I'll find out!

I got stuck on the login page for a bit, but besides that it was fairly smooth. 2am here in Illinois. My bed awaits as well.

Also at around 1:08. The fact that I actually searched for that on a Lady Gaga video is slightly disappointing.

Don't forget the much better image sensors. The current iPad still has a camera that is the equivalent of the iPhone 4's.

And other companies do better? Carriers subsidize the cost of phones, that has been the norm for years. Any major Android device is way more expensive off-contract or unlocked.

I certainly don't like to heckle Giz staff, I was just agreeing with the original poster. It's a title that is pretty misleading in my opinion. I gave a valid suggestion on an alternative title. No heckling there.

"Civilian Drone, Last Seen Flying Over Washington, D.C., Has Gone Missing" would be a much more appropriate title. Everybody who sees the current title is instantly going to think of a military drone. Yay, pageclicks.

Cage the Elephant is without a doubt my favorite band, I was psyched to hear them in the intro. Definitely looking forward to their next album, their first two were beyond great.
