Needs more lentils.
Needs more lentils.
She wasn't there though. At the time, she was already living with her mother and the parents were divorced. They met her together, they chatted a bit, he dropped his daughter home with her mother (his ex) and swung back around and kidnapped her.
ME was by far the worst. The. Worst. (I'm barely resisting the urge to go all caps in my rage)
Poison it, buy one, get sick, SUE. Taking a bunch of other people on the ride with her unwittingly mind you.
I think it's because she actively, purposely ratcheted the slide, though she did it in complete ignorance. It sounds like the father's gun just went off without any deliberate action on his part. Gun may have just been bumped up against something or dropped or some such.
Fun reply: I'm free on x-day. Wanna grab lunch?
And they had to pose with the police for some kind of PR "see? we're all friends here" type of BS.
Have you ever read/contributed to the mansplaining tumblr? One way to vent frustration. I sympathize.
Was torn between your comment and a lot of other people saying she nailed it, so I looked up her voice:
I read an article where men copped to rape if you didn't actively call it rape. So ask if they've had sex with a partner that was passed out and unaware, they'd cop to it. Ask them in the next breath, if they ever raped anyone and they'd be scandalized. People truly don't see it as rape, because "she didn't say no"…
I'm voting five just because that seems to have your eyes most in the center of the lens. I also like one.
Actually it appears that he's for. He had some jewellery out before and it someone is suing for him having stolen the idea to repurpose AK47's.
With the default font, that's what it looks like. I see your name is Flshnets. Increasing the font (control + Scroll wheel) fixes it.
Given ALEC and how they're de facto writing legislation, this is bound to spread. I wholly believe that this kid didn't do much other than wear the shirt. He may have talked back which is enough in the eyes of school administrators everywhere (remember the whole "I'm going to call your college and tattle on you for…
Exactly. I read an article a while ago (on Gawker?) where they are basically channeling students straight into jail. There was a 6 year old boy who was arrested because he wasn't wearing black shoes.
In a way, she's critiquing previous critiques. And this does somewhat focus on her point of view in writing these critiques in the first place, with all of its inherent hedging.
I love all of this article, but a special shout out to the line on Armond White. I almost lost it there.
So much this. This stance completely boggles my mind.
Can I get yo numbah?!
Sorry for adding my voice to the echo chamber. This new system is both an improvement and yet not all at the same time.
