+1 on Polestar Blue.  I mean, come on, it’s a 600 bhp car.  Don't you want anyone to have the chance of noticing it?

The costs DON’T add-up quickly on there when you’re talking $35 for a pump or $7 for a thermostat. You should definitely do all those things. On modern cars, you’re usually talking 10X those prices.

What I’m getting it is, why would a S8 Plus would cause your spouse to be mad over an S-Class? The S-Class has the luxury name and prestige that everyone knows, and the S8 Plus would do that with performance and only be recognized by people who care about cars.

Sure, before I got my S6, I drove one (a 90D). That model was basically the same performance of my car, but it didn’t even have a center console! They’ve gotten better, but it’s not even close to the germans for luxury.

If the R8 Plus is nice enough for you, that could be a good one. It has pneumatic side leg bolsters not available in the regular R8.

We’ve turned off the Odyssey’s lane departure warning and forward collision warning, as they’re useless. The S6's lane keeping and active cruise control actually make sense. Both car’s blind spot warnings are sensible however.
