As fuel economy increases (or is replaced by alternate fuel) we have less and less funding for infrastructure. We’ll need to find other ways to monetize our aging infrastructure. Previous generations built for subsequent generations, but we are not currently keeping up with this.

The wealthiest people I know wear jeans very often and are casual. The people who can afford the most expensive stuff don’t aspire to look the part, confident that they have the part.

Good to know. I’m not sure that I understand how pouring tons of sand on top of coral will structurally be supportable without significantly harming the reefs. I imagine the surface area of accessible reefs would be dramatically reduced even in that case because fish could only enter from the sides while sun wouldn’t…

I am very impressed by the look of these if they truly offer see-through augmented reality while in the car.

Earth’s reefs are in big trouble already. Assuming China went for big reefs because they would be easier to turn into islands, what does this do to the environment?

Modern tractors are sold by their capabilities beyond just moving. I’m sure John Deere just used that example to avoid saying they’re worried people will steal their IP.

I don’t have my score yet (taking a bit to load), but some of the music choices do make it hard to understand the fidelity. The second track (the one the author got wrong) clearly has some digital adjustments with it, and it’s hard to know what was intended.

Agree with that. It's a player only, and I use VLC every now and then for weird stuff like WMV or strange AVIs.

People who get lots of tire kickers don't put enough detail in their ads. I always build a custom Website with oodles of details, high resolution pics, and more. This lets us avoid people who are genuinely not interested...or at least reduce them. Typically I've been able to sell cars with just a very few viewers.
