I have fond memories of this car. It was the first new car my Dad bought well is was a 74 but it was a coupe. Midnight blue with baby blue vinyl roof. We had that forever. I learned to drive on that thing. It truly was a boat with all the vagueness of a rudder for steering. Floating. Good memories!

Costly or not...Thought the same as I hesitantly  bought a 2003 325xi for my daughter for a little more than this. 5 spd and 233,000 on the clock. Got her through 2 years of school, 25,000 miles of mostly trouble free use. Started throwing a lean code I could not find. Didn’t really care at that point. Then someone

But do you like RoadMasters as much as this guy? This is near where I live and when I occasionally drive by I always wonder what the plan for all these were. I think the town made him get rid or move them so now the only view is from google street level and I am unsure how this link will work.

I agree CP - picked up a 2004 sedan (ok not longroof, mind you) 231,000 miles. Manual, everything electrical works, seats in great shape, came with a stack of maintenance records from day 1 and I paid 2600.00.

Nope. My parents owned one in this very livery. The dealer they bought it from gave away the hatch filled with 2 liter coke products. The soda lasted longer than the car in our household. The thing ran like crap, handled even worse and had no cargo room. This is a hatch not a wagon, That loading sill where the tail

My girlfriend (now wife) bought one brand new S13 in 1990. Loved that car then we had a kid and traded it in for a Quest. Worst. Trade. Ever.

Had one of these brand new. Loved it. One day it eventually returned back to the earth as iron oxide.

Owned an 82. From 86-88. I thought I was pretty cool at the time ( I was 18-19). Eventually rings went bad in 2 cylinders, lost quite a bit of power and burned oil so bad (not to mention a ton of other things that went wrong) I got rid of it. Still see them occasionally and smile.

Rando?

Watching Hot Fuzz for the upteenth time and then it hit me....YARP!

I agree. I know what you mean you can get a lot of steel doors for super cheap. But the article is talking renovations not replacements. Which I tend to think of as upgrades. As for basements - I did a basement remodel where I hung 25 custom made maple doors. Again not Lowe's $80 pine 6 panels... Some people

I am sure this is just not a plain entry door. Not the kind you can get for $140 at the home improvement store. My entry door consisted of 2 leaded glass sidelights a leaded glass window in the door and is also fiberglass. Which looks like wood, insulates better and lasts longer too. 6' wide in total cost me

esport athlete? Athlete? Really?

Ahhh how about the "nothing but net" call on the bank in three (not an intended bank shot either), or where he called Digger Phelps the devil, for obvious reasons, but still its actually quite entertaining.

This. I did the exact same thing with my son when he was learning to drive a few years ago. First thing was to teach the manual (save the manuals). Next after a snow storm we found parking lots and empty farm access roads and I would pull the ebrake, (without warning) induce a slide and have him work out of it. At

I had this happen one time. One of our two cats got out, I was completely unaware of it at the time. Jumped in my trusty rusty 89 Nissan pickup and proceeded to drive about 30 miles to the nearest home improvement center. Took at least 45 minutes to get what I needed and drove home.
