Seriously? No Greek in SoCal? What part of SoCal? Because in L.A. alone there is Papa Cristo’s on Pico, George’s Greek on Figueroa and the Great Greek in Sherman Oaks and Aliki’s Taverna near LAX. Not to mention the TONS of Small Mom and Pop Greek Diners all over SoCal.

Ask for them chopped up fine and crispy. That’s how I got my Brother in law to try them and now he’s orders them when ever he gets the chance.

If you are ever up for it and can’t get a lengua taco, order a tripas one. Make sure you ask for them on the crispy side.

It’s easier to peel the outer skin of the tongue off after its been boiled or steamed. Just make sure to wash it really well before hand.
