The funny (or sad, depending on how you look at it) thing is I've never found a good replacement for Fireworks. The near-perfect combination of tools for digital design.

Copied from Adobe's Creative Cloud FAQ:
Yep, Lightroom is included. Looking at my Adobe Application Manager, it shows Lightroom 4.4 is available for download.
I've been using the Creative Cloud subscription service for about five months now. I spend all day in Fireworks and Illustrator as part of my job, so just wanted to let you know: this isn't web-based software. You're not using Photoshop over the internet, so no worries there.
Yeah, same issue here. Are there any other router/extender combo out there besides Apple's Airport Extreme + Express that will extend your original network and not create a new network?
Absolutely. I've bookmarked it, and I'm sure I'll come back to enjoy these articles again in the future.
There is one slightly different option that, depending on your view, may end up with a better ending to the Krogan-Salarian storyline. ME1: Kill Wrex; ME2: Destroy Maelon's data. When you get to ME3, you've got Wreav leading the Krogans, and Eve dies during the final Tuchanka mission. With both of those in place, you…
Ignore the haters, Kotaku. This has been a great week — a warm sendoff to a fantastic series. I've enjoyed every one of these articles, from the serious to the silly.
Looks like a potential replacement for Unsubscribe.com, which died a while ago. But until they start supporting a wider range of email systems, I'm still out of luck.
Wow, you folks work in some seriously scary/secure places.
I've been using Plex for a few months now, with great results. Running it off a PC downstairs in my office, and viewing content via our Roku upstairs in the living room. XBMC's UI customization is useless to me, given the way we watch, and Plex was up and running in zero time. Very happy so far.
I'm a big fan of Firefox's Live Bookmarks feature, too (one of the main reasons I've never switched 100% to Chrome), but Google Reader's value to me comes from reading RSS feeds on my iPhone and iPad via Reeder. I rarely, if ever, actually read feeds in my browser with Google Reader.
This kind of approach worked great for me when I purchased a new Toyota Yaris. Between getting my loan all set up with my lender online and getting a check in the mail, and using Costco to get a solid discounted online quote from a local dealer, I was in and out of the dealer with my new car in no time at all. It took…
At least for the Mac, the link provided in the article now points to version 2.0.
I'm not overly concerned about vibrating while sitting on a flat surface — my ringer is normally turned off, so the vibration is my only indicator of an incoming call or message (unless I'm looking right at it, of course). However, the "turn upside down for Do Not Disturb" sounds like an awesome feature!
Agreed. No offense to Mark Meer, but Jennifer's performance is perfect.
Yup. Short and sweet.
Judd's definitely gonna need some extra walks, after all those treats. :-) Maybe their next project should be one of these for him...
What you might be looking for is more along the lines of a calling card — an olde-tyme tradition that's made a quiet comeback over the past couple of years. Just a simple card with your name, contact info, etc. And I don't see any trouble with putting an image on it that's important to you; most folks you hand the…
As expected, no good replacement for Fireworks. A great tool for digital designers.
