Looks like it doesn't have an HDMI input, unfortunately. Just Dual-Link DVI.

I really wish some network would go back and give Ron Moore's "17th Precinct" another shot. I liked the "magic replacing technology" premise, and it'd be a nice counterpoint to all these space shows (not that I'm downing space shows — we need all we can get!).

Looks like a potential replacement for Unsubscribe.com, which died a while ago. But until they start supporting a wider range of email systems, I'm still out of luck.

Wow, if you ever needed an excuse to become a U.S. expat, this (the premise, not the movie) would be it.

Wow, you folks work in some seriously scary/secure places.

The. Best!

This is pretty much what started it all. I remember walking into that brand new AT&T store (back when no one *bought* phones — they were given to you and/or leased from the telephone company) and seeing the Mickey phone. I was transfixed.

I dunno... to me, this episode felt like 20 minutes of spindly story wrapped with a bunch of fluff. Clara's a bit of flirty fun, and The Doctor's purple coat really rocked, but I'm hoping the rest of this season can find more to run on than just that.

Hehe, perfect!

This is the same method used by the old Telezapper. Whenever you'd pick up your phone, the little device would put out those tones, which would cause most autodialers to immediately hang up. However, its value was based on actually having to pick up your phone... which kinda defeats the broader purpose.

My wife and I are still reasonably sure that Wesley Crusher is actually Picard's son, and not Jack Crusher's. ;)

Since the "My Favorite Martian" entry is talking about the show from the '60s, maybe you should show the awesome Ray Walston (Boothby from ST:TNG for the younger crowd), and not Christoper Lloyd from the horrible, horrible movie remake.

I've been using Plex for a few months now, with great results. Running it off a PC downstairs in my office, and viewing content via our Roku upstairs in the living room. XBMC's UI customization is useless to me, given the way we watch, and Plex was up and running in zero time. Very happy so far.

Agreed! I love my giant awesome Nixon.

I ordered two Pebbles, and at the rate they're shipping, I'll probably have an iWatch before they ever show up.

Actually, I'm guessing the two cables being referred to here are 1) Power and 2) HDMI. The Roku has an Ethernet port, but you can also connect it to your network via Wi-Fi. Unless the power-over-Ethernet thing is new for the Roku 3.

I'm a big fan of Firefox's Live Bookmarks feature, too (one of the main reasons I've never switched 100% to Chrome), but Google Reader's value to me comes from reading RSS feeds on my iPhone and iPad via Reeder. I rarely, if ever, actually read feeds in my browser with Google Reader.

This kind of approach worked great for me when I purchased a new Toyota Yaris. Between getting my loan all set up with my lender online and getting a check in the mail, and using Costco to get a solid discounted online quote from a local dealer, I was in and out of the dealer with my new car in no time at all. It took

This sucks. I use Reeder on my iPhone and iPad (which pulls from Google Reader) religiously, but without an engine to power it, I'm concerned.

This will be much more relevant if my Pebble watches ever actually show up. Has it been almost a year since the Kickstarter campaign started?
