"It's pretty solid as is. It'd be cool if you could stitch multiple panels together to create a one page comic strip..."

Indeed. I felt a lump rise in my throat early in the shot when a *boat* comes floating up the road. Serious foreshadowing.

Ditto that. Wow, that pilot did nothing for me. Not even Summer Glau and her not-appropriate-for-running short skirts could keep me watching.

This is just ridiculous. So we're supposed to go back to cash or checks?! Talk about a step backwards.

I'm sure. Costco only accepts AMEX credit cards. They also accept any debit card with a VISA or MC imprint, where you'll be required to enter a PIN number. But no credit-only VISAs or MCs.

Yep, that's how I read it, too. Actually, I never use my "Debit card" as debit, as I'm concerned about the safety of my PIN number. I always have vendors run my debit card as Credit. Within the realm of card fraud, it's safer that way.

Normandy 3? Since the Cerberus version of the Normandy wasn't destroyed at the end of ME2, how did we get to 3?

Still so much unfriendly weirdness going on, though. For me, in many cases, clicking on a headline link in either panel does... nothing. Nothing changes, nothing loads. Whether that's performance or some crazy script, the result is the same.

Big question for me: Will the new Migration Assistant be smart enough to help move over a synced iPhone or iPad? I've been syncing my iPhone 4 to my WinXP PC due to my Mac's age, but when I replace it this summer, I'd like a smooth-as-possible transition.

I'm sure I'm not the only one to notice this, but Noscript doesn't play well with the Gawker redesign. So LH, Gizmodo, io9... all of 'em choke like crazy. And trying to find the right combination of sites to allow or deny to return to "normal" functioning was almost like a crapshoot.

Nice to know not everyone agrees with you. :)

Nah, not as interesting as Winkelvii. And these guys need all the interesting they can get.

"Wherever you go, there you are."

I don't keep up with HP's hardware releases, but I'm wondering: have we seen anything good come out of HP's purchase of Voodoo in their attempt to battle Dell's leap into high-end gaming when they bought Alienware?

Also, wouldn't it be easier if I could just step through the slideshow while expanded? Or am I supposed to already be able to do that? Firefox/XP says no.

Agreed. I'm sad that this fell apart. Seemed there were too many reasons bandied about to know what actually caused the split. Was it money? Was it creative direction?

Absolutely! Hope she finds a better vehicle than V.

That would be Fleshbot. 'Cuz I did a Google search.

All the hats give me a very strong Observer vibe.

Move along, troll. Nothing to see here but quality sci-fi.
