I posted about this in groupthink, but I'd like to get an idea of the mainpage crowd: How many of you are writers? Feel free to introduce yourselves and talk a little about your current project. Is anyone taking part of NaNoWriMo this year?I know very few writers IRL, so I love talking writing with others.

Whelp.

OMG! I am dead with that picture of Branson with Sybbie. Looks like this will be the season of the DILF!

I only started seeing Black Books on Netflix. I sometimes feel that Bernard Black is a cautionary tale to all English Majors like myself who have yet to get a god job in the economy and think opening up a book store would be a fun idea. Not that I've ever thought about that or anything....lately.

Are You Being Served? was another good one! Thanks for reminding me. I wish it was on Netflix, because there were far too many episodes that I missed despite loving the show.

It has it's slow parts, but Lenny Henry gives it a lot of life. Also, it's pretty much the only show on the Britcom lineup that has a black person as the main character, and I wish there was more.

Hello weekend people!

I am the Eljay, and I speak for the Lolitas.

Since I am not authorized to post anywhere other than my blog, I'll bring this point of discussion to the open forum:

Hello weekend people!

Good to hear someone else is going. I hope you have the best time ever!

I am confused about the New York Comic Con merging with the New York Anime Festival.

I asked in groupthink last night, but I thought I would bring the topic to the weekend Open Thread: What do you think of maid cosplay?

Congrats on the Real World Job! (not to be confused with a job on The Real World, which would suck)

Any Jezzies on Poupeegirl? For those who don't know about it: it's a very fashionable Japanese dress-up game where you can also load pictures of items you have and have people rate and comment on your items.

I think The Fifth Element is available. It's on the short list of action movies I will watch if that says anything.

Happy Friday to everyone! We made it!

The whole "They look the same" argument gets me so riled up. Anyone would all look the same if you're not really looking at someone as a person and only see a small sample of something different. Every non-white person eventually gets the "look the same" treatment, and it's often from white people or people who don't

I want to talk about how much I loved this article and how much I was thinking "YES!", but in my head because I was at work.

I got him, too! That guy is all over the place, however. If I lost around 200 pounds, I'd still get him on the chart.
