As Sean said, the building isn’t owned by the Church, and Ubisoft is a French company that made a game that directly profited off using the likeness of the building in their game.

Notre-Dame is owned by the French state, not the Catholic Church, so it’s France’s burden to pay for the rebuilding.
Why do so many people think Notre Dame is in Paris, Texas?
Or for my family and friends in Puerto Rico...?
We’re all glad for your input.
I’ll just drop this here:
Sony feels the need to protect the children from the horrifying sight of an anime girl in a bikini but shit like this is perfectly fine for Sony’s family friendly platform
Of course, it would have helped if their game was any good.
Yep, some poor soul lost it or was paid off.
True story, that was his 2nd time that day doing the full parry. First time that day was on Ricki Ortiz in casuals who told floe and some others what happened. That’s why you can hear floe yelling “don’t do it, don’t do it, don’t do it”before Justin does it. Apparently, all the Japanese players knew he could do it as…

Shinkai’s one of those guys along with Edgar Wright where I don’t even need to see anything, just a blank poster with their name that says like “ya boy has a new movie out soon” and I’ll be there day one.
I wish Shinkai would do more sci-fi. Voices of a Distant Star, and Beyond The Clouds still rank very highly on my list of all-time favorites... And we’re talking about out of over three decades of anime-watching.
Wait, there are games where I can drone bomb online weddings?
