This isn’t Gizmodo. It’s Kotaku. Read the URL in your address bar. You’re barking up the wrong tree.
What? Seriously, what the hell are you actually talking about?
waaaaaaaaaaaiit... Epic lifting elements from other games to make their own better? Why does that sound... familiar....
even doing that cel-shaded 3D that’s becoming popular these days.
Exclusives are a way of creating competition between storefronts. Epic has drawn a line in the sand labeled 12% and now expects Steam to step up if they want games to be drawn back to their storefront. 30% is an INSANE royalty rate and they only got away with it because there wasn’t an alternative. Now there is.
I’ve been waiting for the Schreier breakdown of how this fell apart far more than the game itself.
It’s silly to me how die hard people can be about wanting items used in smash. I wonder if these same people would argue that Pokemon tournaments should allow 99x Max Potions, and 99x Full Restores.
Mayhem is not good for competition. The items are based on randomization and chance, which are things you try to minimize and eliminate in a competitive setting. We are not trying to see who is better at using items, we want to see who is better at using their characters, and at reading their opponent.
It will be exhausting responding to people who believe this is the “right” way to play Smash bros. For tournaments, randomization leads to lesser display of skill between players.
Incarceration isn’t the only form of rehabilitation.
It really is striking how Strongholds are the end game, even though you run each of them at least once during the main campaign and the higher difficulty versions don’t substantially change their design.
I guess I’d imagined the existing Switch staying put and another new model coming in either above/below it. But this effectively kills the OG switch dead.
It’s not just a $1.05 that really is the issue. As it said in the post people are upset that the player has never been updated and the overall loading times of some anime is horrible. I’d pay $12 a month if I got more features added to the site but this site has not changed in many many years now. Plus lets not forget…
Seriously its $1.05 increase a month. Come on people. Also it doesn’t make the news much but just like TNN, HBO, and CNN, Crunchyroll is now owned by ATT! So a price hike was inevitable really.
To borrow a phrase from Deadspin’s commentors: Always Highlight Truthers.
“I know I’ve beaten this drum a couple of times before on previous hard runs in the past”
The real David Bowie wouldn’t be this much of a dick, just sayin.
nah, idol culture is totally fucked. theres also a lot of pressure on women in Japan to not rock the boat and cause problems, especially for their employer.
