I'm among the many that have pulled a complete 180 on Destiny. Looked so damn generic in all the marketing, and I was really confused about what the game was. After playing the Alpha... holy crap this game genuinely has the potential to be everything Bungie and Activision are gambling on. It's insanely good.

I don't understand the hate toward Ubisoft. E3 trailer are a lot of the time just target footage. Which mean they make it all beautiful for show and tries to get as close as possible to that footage in the final product.

It would be pretty stupid to beta test a product like this and not include a major genre of games. The whole point is to test its performance and get feedback from gamers about how well it played particular games.

its entirely possible for internet speeds and technology to develop to the point where you can send a command and get the first frame containing the result of that command in 16ms. It sounds crazy now but it is entirely possible, and some day it will be trivial. Guaranteed.
