Depends on the team. Some require you buy season tickets or forfeit the license entirely. Some let you hang onto it and the team sells your tickets to someone else until you come back into the fold. Incorrect, almost every team has a clause whereby you lose the PSL from not buying tickets, or at a minimum the team can sell your tickets to someone else that year.
