I was not on scholarship - non revenue sports tend to only have a handful to give, depending on the sport - and I was fortunate enough due to family support & working during school to avoid loans. The vast majority of my team was non-scholarshipped (but was varsity... so travel, hotels, team gear, training table, etc…
