My wife put it perfectly: "These guys are amazing. It's like they are a school of fish!"

I think there are two major flaws in your argument:

If I have to hear you say you did this for the Family one more time...

Um, yeah.... I live in San Francisco.

Point taken, but the name of Gronking stuck because (1) Gronk scores often enough that it's a thing now, (2) it fits the Gronk personality perfectly, and (3) internets / gifs / etc.

I love everything about Andrew Luck. But I love that he Gronks his TDs the most.

Okay, I really HATE to be the guy to say "Okay, so are you for it or against it," but just to clarify let me ask:

I want the Washington Georges. Hey, Buffalo has the Bills!

I say let's commend these people. They know who they are and they own it. I kind of think they're awesome. I bet they're that nice couple in your area with season tickets who everyone knows.

Long story short: if the stadium authority (which only pulls in money from stadium events and rents paid by the 49ers) ever is short on its bank payment, the niners are required to pay. Literally the only way the taxpayers foot that bill is if stadium revenues can't cover the costs of the stadium AND the sale price

I am not going to get into the whole debate, but as a resident of the area who watched the live feed of every city council proceedings, read the terms of the deal page by page, and has followed along every step of the way I can assure you that the city's ass is covered.

This would be a good time to point out that the 49ers and NYG basically built their stadiums without any tax money. Both stadiums got advantageous terms in securing their sites, yes, and the niners have a small amount of tax money from local hotels and (which opted IN to taxing to get the venue nearby) redevelopment

First: what exactly do you think "Ginger Khan" is "pouring" into this game? A computer generated image of new jerseys is free PR. The Pro Bowl is actually pretty cheap to put on. You rent the Aloha Bowl, rent out some beach parties, buy some hawaiian shirts and lei's and - ta-da! - instant 12 million viewer

Breaking Bad's SUPER HUGE finale that brought the world to a standstill: 10.5 million viewers.

Only two CBs are mentioned as reference points, Sherman and Revis. They are the gold standards at their positions. The fact that you like Peterson and that he's exciting is irrelevant; he's not in the gold standard conversation.

Robert Edwards disagrees with you.

False. They would never use the word "Redskins".

Gaaahhhh I was gonna write this exact same post, nearly word for word.

I'm a lifelong Bay Area resident, 49er season ticket holder, and am pretty close to a lot of the folks who work for the team and can confirm a lot of your major points.

My first thought exactly.
