I swear when I was a kid Tim McCarver was pretty good.

I bought a 1991 YJ for 8K in 1993 - gas gauge didn’t work, radiator had a leak, stick shift was missing the head.

I also can’t stand listening to people talk about hockey with southern accents

He really should have a pegleg, eyepatch and parrot.  He’s the pickup truck version of Captain Barbossa.

Usually, yes. But for (extremely rare) dark on dark scenes like this, the peak brightness allows the TV to effectively have enough available range to differentiate them. To put it another way, I’m complaining that the deepest blacks still look like dark grey, you’re complaining that there’s not enough light output to

Plasma would be a great choice - extremely high peak brightness values, unlike an OLED.

Let’s get TV nerdy -it has to do with peak brightness of your TV, not the calibration or picture quality. OLEDs have better picture, but LCDs (especially QLED) have them beat going away on peak brightness.

“Eight of the 10 shows people spent the most time watching on Netflix in the U.S. last year were reruns, including old hits such as NBCUniversal’s “Parks and Recreation,” WarnerMedia’s “Friends” and Disney’s “Grey’s Anatomy,” the data show.”

I still think this is a massive troll job. Gruden’s still mad about how the Raiders treated him back in 2001, so he’s taking their money and slowly putting them in a position so untenable that it will take a decade or more to undo.

Neither “story” makes any sense, so to me it’s a tossup.

Well, his brother played Wolverine’s brother, so that part might work.

The fact that you can differentiate them so granularly is impressive.

“I’ve drove a Lexus LX570 a couple years ago, which is essentially a Land Cruiser, and I remember hating it. I can’t fathom why anyone would buy one in this day and age”

“The Nintendo Switch screen is pretty big”

Alphard looks like a Transformer.  This looks like the Predator.  Just a matter of which series of increasingly-bad movies you prefer.

I have a feeling some of the above is hype and hyperbole, and will be tempered down in the final product simply to prevent it from being priced above $500.

Wait - you broke a door handle twice?  That seems like Saturn in a sentence.

But it looks soooo happy!

This is my worry with the somewhat less powerful Switch.  This game ran a little clunky even on my PS4 Pro.  Not sure how it will run on Switch - I keep thinking of the nearly unplayable ports of Rime and Sexy Brutale.

Pretty harsh critique of an 18-year-old who is playing without pay.
