I saw the Legacy 3D trailer when I went to see Piranha 3D (Don't judge me!), and I have to say it looks very impressive. These stills, while amazing, don't do it justice.

At first I thought this was a box set of Star Trek episodes set in an Old West setting al a A Fistful of Datas. What?!? It could happen.

@Ski3143: I think I need to go pitch this to the BBC. ;)

@acountddd: I think it's from season/series 13 episode 3 or 4.

@JibbyJam: I hope that's a good thing. The original idea was more a quick joke, but then I got photoshop happy and went in a whole other direction.

Project Top Gear. The motoring enthusiast's MMO. You'll have to forgive any spelling errors.

@Iis4island: I totally agree. Sam and everything else just felt off. And I think that is for a reason. There's something much bigger going on.

@reed: While it may be shit, I think the time is ripe for them to make a killing. @Powdered-Toast-Man: True, he was defiantly ahead of his time in regards to biomimicry.

@Balveda: Haha! Stealing the Wookie design from George R.R. Martin, and the Geonosis design from Gaudi. Way to go George.

Antonio Gaudi came pretty close to making buildings look like insect hives. Not exactly LEED certified, but still.

I'd add The Net to your list. On par with Hackers for cheesy 90s computer movies.

This planet never ceases to amaze me.

The Horus Guard Helmet is awesome. Any io9er be willing to lend* me 10 grand. Come on, some of you have to be wealthy.

@FriscoBowie: Thanks! I see what Dwight meant now. I don't think it hurts to bend the "rules" every now and then. :)
