Probably not, but CEOs, investors, board members, etc all seem to be assholes anyway.

I won't argue with the idea, but if they did half the price, would twice as many people actually buy it? I know many people that absolutely refuse to pay anything in free to play. I'm not sure how much of the demographic they account for though. It'd be an interesting thing to observe if they ever did it.

Well, they did give us something completely fantastic. Several things in fact. FF4, 6, Secret of Mana, Chrono Trigger... That is a fair point about the price though. I rented it myself, back when renting was a thing :). I imagine if I did pay full price for it I would've been quite disappointed indeed.

I think your keyboard is broken.

A newcomer wouldn't have knowledge of what counters what, and even following a counter chart or guide, champion knowledge and game skill will trump you every time.

So what you're saying is that all talented artists of the world deserve pittance for a salary? Have fun flipping burgers for fractions of a penny, with that logic.

Dark Souls II | PC | $12 credit or $10 off

On the subject of free to play, it's not the model I have an issue with. It's games that abuse it by nickle and dime-ing you to death, and skewing the gameplay to "incentivise" you to pay for getting to the next level quicker, beating a boss easier, etc etc etc. So garbage.

I'd still consider it better than half the crap that comes out these days. It was simplistic and short, but that could be said of a lot of games right now. It's all subjective I guess. I enjoyed it for what it was.

This sort of parochialism is an alarming trend in Japanese game development. And it's not even new—the "American gamers don't get it" mentality has been around since Square released a game called Final Fantasy USA. (Called Mystic Quest in the U.S., it was simple and straightforward, designed primarily to introduce

I don't know if they'll keep it, but I definitely agree. What's the harm in leaving it enabled for a bit of gits and shiggles every now and then? ARAM gets old after a while. URF is always hilarious <3. Soraka+Ezreal=OP.

Jason, are you in on the pre-April Fools bit? Cuz that's not funny. I will find you and hurt you :(.

It makes me sad that this is a prank. It could be an awesome AR style game :(.

They remind me of the bigger, bulkier rubber suits of the 80s movies. It being done by Michael Bay doesn't fill me with confidence... I hope it's good though.

I want to like it, but all this facebook/mobile gaming crap of penalizing me for 15 minutes when a spirit dies, and waiting an eternity for HP to regen all so they can charge me $1 or 2 is some damn bullshit.

So I guess we wait for Valve to unfuck everything? Too much trust, do not want to invest... oh wait....

So... taking pictures is what constitutes a wild night out these days?... Really? If "Teen runs hog wild on 1WTC roof" had been the headline I'd have assumed he was trying to start fires, spraying graffiti, smoking a joint and threatening to jump. Jeez.

No SNES 'til tomorrow?... Well, balls. I'll probably forget by then.

Obviously. I really don't see the value in all these "simulators". Most are just thrown together haphazardly for idiots like PewDiePie to make a few million off of.
