Eurogamer has reported that a Microsoft representative has told them that a fix is in the works.

Some members of the Bungie.net forums have apparently been told by microsoft representatives that a solution for the problem is being worked on, and at least one has indicated that an announcement might be made regarding the bad game disks and this issue within the next couple of days.
