My nowhere in my half-assed at sarcasm did I make an argument that guns deter violence.

I was being sarcastic and only half-assedly trying to make a point, but I posted an actual argument in reply to myself.

You caught on to my sarcasm and made a very good point. I posted a longer reply to my post that has a better argument and part of it mirrors this sentence that you wrote:

This country is awash with illegal guns, unless we dealt with that any ban would be pointless because criminals could still easily get their hands on guns. Wow, I didn't know that banning guns saves lives? Surely that must make Chicago the safest city in the US.

These are the stupidest responses to an article I've seen on here in a while. Just ridiculous.

My best friend was falsely accused but no one believed her and she recanted. She was just afraid because her parents found out about their relations (which by the way was going on for months leading up to that point).
