It wasn’t perfect, but I thought it moved the series forward in some fantastic ways. Which puts it well ahead of TFA.

Loved Luke’s arc, and Leia’s. Loved Rose, but not her kiss with Finn. Loved the reveal about Rey’s family. Hated the premature death of Snoke. Pacing mixed, humor mixed, shockingly a fan of porgs.
That actually sounded... decent? You might have failed at this one.
Did he? The chosen one is supposed to restore balance, and killing the last of the Sith is... not balanced? It’s clear the Jedi have no idea what balance actually means, since they constantly demonize and avoid an ENTIRE SIDE of the Force.
Trainwreck’s comments are pathetic. Those “same girls” who rejected you never owed you shit, pal. I hate when self-avowed “nerds” and “outcasts” act like women are wrong if they choose another dude.
So many unnecessary lines all over that Flash costume.
Couldn’t care less about AC, but I got Wolfenstein, the gf got us Odyssey, and I’ve been waiting for Stranger Things for ages. Gita, it hurts!
Ya know, these sorts of comments have me really rethinking my statement. Batman TAS is long past... Timm’s recent work, and portrayal of women has been... Yeah, not great.
I would let Bruce Timm direct a Metroid series, oh god yes.
Yeah, sorry kid, the N word is not something you just accidentally spew out without a history of using it. If it made it on stream, it makes its way out of your shit face on the regular. Time for this Youtube star to call it quits.
“Famous Rebas: Amy Schumer; Lena Dunham; Jezebel readers.”
“Much more sense” still equates to not much sense at all.
Two thoughts.
How did Euron and Cersei plan his little “Fuck this I’m hiding” bit in advance when they had no way of knowing there was a walking dead man coming in a box?
Also, with all the fast travel happening this season, when Jaime asks Cersei “What can the Golden Company do for us in Essos?” my immediate reaction…
There’s a theory that THEY’RE Targaryens? I buy the one about Tyrion far more, as it’s just another reason for his father to have hated him so much (he also looks the least Lannister of the three).
I recently read an article stating that there’s scientific evidence that the best way to combat hatred within your in-group is to discuss the people in your life from the target out-group and how important they are in your life. But... What’s more in-group than your own goddamn family? I’m really beginning to think…
You thought Will and Astrid’s interactions were well written?? I’ve never groaned at dialogue as much as with their first exchange. It felt like a bunch of over-used tropes tied together in a ragged string.
The editing on that trailer is abysmal. Plus, kinda bothered by their pronunciation of Attilan, though I guess there’s no verified pronunciation. I always thought it was “At-TIL-an.”
It was.
I took both of these scenes to be a meta joke about the frequent mistake.
The Doctor. It’s The Doctor.
